Don't let the cold keep you from Night of the Arts! It's totally free to get in, and there will be tons of fun things to do and see. You can bring a few dollars if you would like to purchase books, tickets for the auction, food, etc. We can't wait to see you from 5:30-7:00!

2nd graders in Mrs. Lien’s class are learning about the ocean habitat. They’re using Expedition virtual reality goggles to dive down into the ocean!

Don't miss Caroling on the Creek this Friday! Our Wolfpack Choir is performing at 5:30. Apple Seeds teaching farm visited the EAST classroom today to share a yummy smoothie recipe with Westwood’s 3rd grade students. The students learned how to measure foods for a smoothie, use a safety knife, read and understand the nutrition facts and blend their own smoothie. And best of all each student received a packet of the ingredients so they can enjoy a smoothie at home with their family.

2nd grade had a great IB night- thanks to all who came!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas...our booster club will be selling these awesome light up necklaces for $5. You can send money to school, purchase from our table at Caroling on the Creeks, or purchase at our upcoming Night of the Arts. Thanks for supporting our Booster Club!

Don’t feel like cooking? Visit Chick-fil-a by the NWA mall this evening and tell them you’re with Westwood. Need to do some Christmas shopping? Pop on over to Barnes and Noble and tell them you’re with Westwood. Both places will donate a portion of the proceeds back to our school.

Tomorrow is pajama day for K,1,2,3, and 5th (4th was today since they have a field trip tomorrow). Mañana es el día del pijama para K, 1,2,3 y 5to (el 4to fue hoy ya que tienen un viaje de campo mañana).

The Mini Wild Dog race that was scheduled for tomorrow has been rescheduled for Monday, Nov. 4.

Don't forget those pumpkins tomorrow! The note we sent home said they were due tomorrow and judging would happen Wednesday, but we had to move the judging up to tomorrow. We can't wait to see lots of fun pumpkins!
